Part 2: Thumbnail Designs
From left to Right-
The first design is meant to draw attention down from the heading towards the main body where the separate categories are segmented to be easily discernable.
The second design places the name and contact info at the top in a triangle, separating it from the main body. There is a second triangle separated by a solid band at the bottom to hold another category.
The third design has a split off section at the top for name and contact info and separates the rest of the information into newspaper like columns using graphics (represented by the circles) to differentiate between them.
The fourth design also has a similar space at the top for name and info while a tapered dotted line runs down the left side making a margin. On the left of the margin are the category titles while the actual text is on the right hand side
From Left to Right-
The leftmost design uses a single floating left aligned rectangle to display the name and contact info- probably with a background color. The next four rectangles all hold a category and alternate between left and right alignment on the page to give a stacking effect.
The next design is simple but efficiently organizes the information, it uses an upside down "L" shape to create a vertical and horizontal margin. This margin holds name and contact info at the top, and the categories of other sections on the left. The right side holds the blocks of smaller text that correspond to the categories.
The third design here splits the page down the middle and again, uses newspaper like columns (except fewer of them) to separate the information categories into readable distinct blocks.
The last design uses lines to create a thick margin around the edges with a break at the top underneath the title to accommodate the contact information and "exposition text". The four categories and their information are broken up into 4 left aligned blocks going down the inside of the created margins.
Update- 3/15/2021
Resume Comp-
Design number 2 was the most solid, eye catching, and streamlined.
Some minor changes were made such as the addition of bullet points with the text, and dividing lines for the center 2 categories.
The variety of these resume designs are great, and their individual uniqueness helps emphasis your supporting information. The first and last designs both specifically display an appealing and bold layout of the resume's skills and experience. However, in particular, the second resume design definitely has the greatest ability to grab the attention of any employer, and it also showcases the resume's content within a creatively organized fashion, (by implementing those diagonal lines).
